Operations
Prepress. C&O's continuing investments in technology result in tighter control over all the printing processes.
A state of the art prepress department helps speed the prep process and maintain quality. Our color management system helps assure that the proof the customer approves matches the press sheet. C&O's direct-to-plate equipment allows precise control and helps protect the environment. Polluting chemicals are virtually eliminated from the prepress process.
Experienced prepress technicians, operating advanced equipment, assure quality and consistency. For the C&O customer, reduced rework means savings in time and costs.
Pressroom. The modern, 41,000 square foot plant was built in 1991 and the company's growth has required two rounds of additions since then. The layout is clean, open and spread out, assisting efficient, smooth work flow.
C&O's biggest equipment advantage is our Heidelberg perfecting press. Running 4-colors on both sides of a sheet in one pass allows us to print more throughput in less time for less money than other sheet-fed printers.
Experience, attitude, facilities and equipment make the difference in the C&O pressroom.
Bindery and Finishing. C&O customers benefit from a fully-equipped bindery department. Most finishing operations can be completed in-house, assisting scheduling and reducing turnaround time. Fully automated equipment speeds cutting, punching, perforating and finishing.
Fulfillment. C&O maintains inventories of printed materials for customers across the United States. Our scheduling and distribution system assures on time delivery of critical materials to manufacturers and retailers. Customers benefit from cost averaging and inventory reduction.
